The shower water pressure was superb. The kids enjoyed the pool and the fact that the location to the beach was super close with various eateries and restaurants to choose along the waterfront. Given that it was Labour weekend, the room prices per night were expected, and the rooms were definitely spacious, which was a win. However, considering it's rated a 4-star, we were expecting it to be like most 4-star hotels, but the rooms were outdated and surrounding atmosphere fell short. We appreciate it was a busy long weekend for the hotel as well so we made the most of the shortcomings and made it an adventure. In saying that though, the hotel definitely needs some sprucing up to live up to its Scenic name. Thank you for the hospitality all round.

Loved the high ceilings in the room we were in. It was roomy and comfortable. Staff was excellent at resolving anything. We ordered room service and got the slow cooked venison, I would go back just for the venison. Breakfast was included in our booking. Breakfast was good.
